Continuing her relentless pursuit for excellence, Dr. Balta underwent intensive training at the renowned Yale University – Bridgeport Hospital in Bridgeport, CT, where she honed her skills in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. Notably, she had already achieved her Internal Medicine certification in her home country, Romania.
Before venturing to the United States, Dr. Balta contributed significantly to the academic side of medicine. She took on the esteemed role of an assistant clinical professor in Romania, illuminating young minds with her vast knowledge and experience.
Driven by an insatiable thirst for knowledge and expertise, she made a pivotal decision to gain advanced training in Internal Medicine in the U.S. A testament to her commitment to the profession, Dr. Balta has been a proud and active member of both the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Pediatrics since the year 2000.
On the personal front, Dr. Balta finds solace and joy in her beautiful family. She resides in Sylva with her loving daughter Ana Maria, her supportive husband Martin, and her wise father Leon.
